Jupiter Wagons Shares Today: Shares of Jupiter Wagons Ltd rallied sharply on Thursday, gaining as much as 13 per cent in intraday trade, after the company announced that its unlisted subsidiary had secured a Letter of Intent (LoI) worth Rs 215 crore for the supply of wheelsets for the Vande Bharat trains.
The stock opened with a gain of 6.11 per cent and extended its rally to hit an intraday high of Rs 371.80 on the NSE, up 12.72 per cent from the previous close. On the BSE, the shares rose 12.6 per cent to Rs 371.50, while trading 11.69 per cent higher at Rs 368.40 around 9:53 am. The counter has now surged nearly 36 per cent from its 52-week low of Rs 270.20.

In an exchange filing, the company said:
“Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory Private Limited has received a Letter of Intent dated August 19, 2025, for the supply of 5,376 wheelsets for the Vande Bharat Train, for an order value of approximately Rs 215 crore.”
This win adds significantly to the company’s already robust order book and further strengthens its position in India’s fast-growing rail infrastructure segment. Jupiter Wagons' confirmed order book in total is at Rs 5,972 crore.
Managing Director Vivek Lohia said that the company's Aurangabad wheelset unit is expected to bring revenues of Rs 550 crore in FY26, with potential to grow to Rs 1,000 crore next year. The firm’s upcoming Odisha wheel and axle project, involving a Rs 2,500-crore phased investment, is progressing as scheduled and is projected to contribute Rs 2,000–3,000 crore in annual revenues by FY28.
On the electric mobility front, the company’s new business arm Jupiter Electric Mobility has started delivering vehicles, opened its first showroom in Bengaluru, and signed an MoU with logistics startup Pickkup for the deployment of 300 electric vehicles by the end of the year.
Technically, the stock is trading above its 5-day, 10-, 20-, 30-, 50-, and 150-day simple moving averages (SMAs), though it remains below its 100-day and 200-day SMAs, indicating near-term strength with room for further technical confirmation.
