This year, over 8.9 lakh students appeared for the Karnataka SSLC Examination 2025, which was conducted from March 21 to April 4 across the state. The board has activated the result link on its portal, and students can access their marks by entering their registration number and date of birth.

This year, a staggering 8,96,447 students appeared for the SSLC exams held between March 21 and April 4, across 2,818 centres in Karnataka. Of these, 4,61,563 were boys and 4,34,884 were girls, showing a near-equal gender participation. The exams were conducted in pen-and-paper format for core subjects such as mathematics, science, social science, and three languages. The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is all set to announce the Class 10 SSLC results today, May 2, at 11:30 AM. The official declaration will be made by School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa during a press conference held at the KSEAB office in Bengaluru. While the announcement will happen at 11:30 AM, students will be able to access their individual results from 12:30 PM onwards through the official websites — karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in. Students must keep their registration number and date of birth ready to avoid any delay while checking their marks. In case of heavy traffic, DigiLocker and SMS services are also available as alternative result access modes. The digital marksheet downloaded from DigiLocker will be treated as valid for admission and future reference until physical copies are issued.

To pass the SSLC exam, students must secure a minimum of 35% in each subject. This includes 40 marks out of 150 in the theory component and 30 out of 50 in practicals, wherever applicable. Students falling marginally short may be eligible for grace marks.

The SSLC 2025 examinations were held from March 21 to April 4 across 2,818 centres statewide. Students wrote papers in core subjects like mathematics, science, social science, and three languages, all under strict supervision and exam protocols.
