This year, a staggering 8,96,447 students appeared for the SSLC exams held between March 21 and April 4, across 2,818 centres in Karnataka. Of these, 4,61,563 were boys and 4,34,884 were girls, showing a near-equal gender participation. In case of heavy traffic, DigiLocker and SMS services are also available as alternative result access modes. The digital marksheet downloaded from DigiLocker will be treated as valid for admission and future reference until physical copies are issued.

To pass the SSLC exam, students must secure a minimum of 35% in each subject. This includes 40 marks out of 150 in the theory component and 30 out of 50 in practicals, wherever applicable. Students falling marginally short may be eligible for grace marks.
