Kia India on Wednesday, November 12, announced that it has further strengthened its certified pre-owned (CPO) program with two significant warranty upgrades. The automaker has increased the certification age limit for pre-owned Kia models from 5 years to 7 years and extended the warranty coverage to 24 months or 40,000 kilometres (whichever is earlier). The program aims to improve customer confidence and ownership experience.

In addition, Kia has also introduced warranty coverage of up to 12 months or 15,000 km, whichever is earlier, for other brand vehicles, sold through its CPO Showrooms.

The ‘Pre-Owned car certification program’ initiative, according to Kia, enables customers to choose from a wider range of pre-owned cars - regardless of brand - while still enjoying the confidence and peace of mind that comes with Kia’s certified standards.

Every pre-owned car sold under the Kia CPO program undergoes a comprehensive 175-point inspection. Only vehicles that successfully meet this standard quality norm are certified and offered for sale through the CPO network.

Kia currently operates 114 Certified Pre-Owned outlets across India.
