L&T said its buildings and factories business vertical won 'significant' orders across several states in India. It classifies orders in the ₹1,000 crore to ₹2,500 crore range as 'significant'.

In Gujarat, the company won an order for the construction of a float glass plant. The scope of work includes design and construction of all civil, steel, mechanical, electrical and plumbing and associated external development.

In Andhra Pradesh, L&T said it secured an order from a leading two-wheeler company to construct their manufacturing facility. The scope of work includes civil, steel and architectural works.

L&T also won multiple add-on orders in existing projects, it added.

L&T's fresh domestic order wins come at a time its international market remains vigilant amid the ongoing Iran-US-Israel war in West Asia, which broke out nearly a month ago.

Although, last week, L&T had clarified that 95% of its sites in West Asia were unaffected by the war.

L&T said it has a presence in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and other regions in the Gulf. It has 100 operating sites in the region, including all segments. Of them 95% of the sites in West Asia are business as usual it said and 5% of the sites were suspended or disrupted.

L&T has a significant exposure to West Asia with around 49% of the company's consolidated order book coming from its international business. Of this, more than 80% came from Saudi Arabia, UAE and the Gulf region.

L&T shares were down 2.4% at ₹3,562.8 apiece around 10 am on Friday. The stock has declined 16.8% in the past month.
