Mahindra XUV 7XO India Launch Today: Mahindra is all set to launch a premium SUV — the Mahindra XUV7XO — globally on Monday, January 5. This upcoming model will be an updated version of the company's existing model, the XUV700. Its world premiere will take place at 8 pm (IST).

According to the company, "the XUV 7XO elevates everything that made the XUV700 a gamechanger."

The company is positioning the upcoming model in the premium SUV segment and has said that the car will build on the legacy of the XUV700, which was first launched in 2021. The existing model has attracted over 300,000 owners in just four years. Commenting on the upcoming XUV 7XO, the company said it combines the proven strengths of the XUV700 with improved design, technology, comfort and performance.

Pre-bookings for the premium SUV — XUV 7XO have already begun. Customers can book the car by paying a booking amount of Rs 21,000.

The company offered the XUV700 in two engine options – a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol that produces 197hp and 380Nm, and a 2.2-litre diesel that is available in two states of tune. The car is priced between Rs 13.65 lakh and Rs 25.14 lakh (ex-showroom), and the new model is also expected to be priced in the same range with minor adjustments.
