The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire has earned a prestigious 5-star safety rating under the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat NCAP), reinforcing the brand’s commitment to road safety and robust engineering. The compact sedan had also achieved a similar rating under Global NCAP last year.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, congratulated Maruti Suzuki India in a post on X (formerly Twitter), calling it a proud moment for ‘Made-in-India’ cars.
“Congratulations to Maruti Suzuki India for achieving a 5 Bharat NCAP rating for the All-New Dzire — a proud milestone for Made-in-India cars. It's heartening to witness mainstream models setting new benchmarks in vehicle safety. Encouraging too is the brand’s swift adoption of advanced active and passive safety features, including 6 airbags across its lineup,” he wrote.
Gadkari further added, “With #BharatNCAP, we aim to raise public awareness on vehicular safety, enabling customers to make informed decisions and prioritize safety while purchasing vehicles. This marks a significant stride toward a safer and more responsible mobility ecosystem in India.”Congratulations to Maruti Suzuki India for achieving a 5 Bharat NCAP rating for the All-New Dzire — a proud milestone for Made-in-India cars.
