MedPlus shares rose by 3.63% to ₹911.00 on the NSE.By Megha Rani   July 15, 2025, 9:02:11 PM IST (Published)2 Min ReadOptival Health Solutions Private Limited, a subsidiary of MedPlus Health Services Ltd, has received three suspension orders for drug licenses across its retail pharmacy outlets in Karnataka and Telangana.

The orders, issued on July 14, 2025, were made under Rule 65 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, and the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.

One of the affected stores is located at Basavangudi Rathnavilas Road in Karnataka, which will be closed for three days, resulting in a potential revenue loss of approximately ₹1.87 lakh.

In Telangana, the store at West Marredpally, Secunderabad faces a seven-day suspension, while another outlet at Satyanarayana Colony, Shameerpet will be shut for three days. These suspensions are expected to lead to revenue losses of ₹0.80 lakh and ₹1.21 lakh, respectively.

Previous suspensions

Additionally, on July 12, 2025, the company received a separate suspension order for its Mahalakshmipuram store in Karnataka, which was closed for three days, incurring a projected revenue loss of ₹0.37 lakh.

Earlier, on July 10, 2025, a store located at Old City Main Road in Karnataka was also issued a two-day suspension order under the same regulatory provisions. The temporary closure is expected to result in a revenue loss of approximately ₹0.53 lakh.
