Shares of the midcap auto ancillary firm in Thursday's trade marked an all-time high of Rs 847.85 per share on the BSE. On the NSE, the stock touched a new high of Rs 848, rallying as much as 9 per cent.
On the BSE, the stock recorded a spurt in trading volume by as much as 6.34 times, while its 2-week average trading volume is at 0.11 lakhs.
The high traction in the stock came after a new ruling which requires the mandatory installation of air-conditioned systems (ACs) in trucks beginning June 8. Earlier, this rule was to be implemented from October 9.
The new norm shall be in place based on the notification issued over a year-and-a-half ago that aimed at enhancing driver comfort and reduce fatigue.
In a 3-year period, the stock has gained over 196 per cent.
