Motorola has officially announced the launch date for the Edge 60 Pro in India. The smartphone will debut on April 30, 2025, following the earlier release of two budget-friendly models under the Edge 60 series. The company has confirmed that the Edge 60 Pro will be available for pre-order the same day, exclusively via Flipkart.

While Motorola has not revealed the official pricing yet, leaks suggest that the Edge 60 Pro could launch at a starting price of Rs 31,999. This positions the device as a premium mid-range offering in the Indian smartphone market.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro: Specifications and features we know so far

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED display with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels. It will support a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness levels reaching up to 4500 nits, ensuring a vibrant viewing experience. The device will run on Android 15 out of the box and is promised to receive three major OS updates along with four years of security maintenance releases

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme chipset, combined with the Mali-G615 MC6 GPU, designed to deliver efficient performance. The phone will support Dual SIM (nano + nano) functionality and boast a large 6000mAh battery. Users will benefit from 90-watt fast wired charging and 15-watt wireless charging capabilities.

In terms of photography, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro will house a 50MP main rear camera with the Sony LYTIA 700C sensor. It will be accompanied by a 50MP autofocus ultra-wide sensor, offering users a versatile camera system for various shooting scenarios. On the front, there will be a 50MP selfie camera designed to capture high-resolution self-portraits and video calls.

The smartphone is designed to handle tough conditions, featuring water and dust resistance certified by IP68 and IP69 ratings. It also meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards, ensuring added protection against accidental drops and harsh environments.
