Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday, October 28, announced that the state government will implement an integrated pension scheme aimed at resolving disparities in pension structures among state employees. The Chief Minister made the announcement while addressing a Diwali Milan event organised by the State Employees Federation at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Park in Bhopal. According to Yadav, a committee will soon be formed to finalise and oversee the rollout of the scheme. He said the government was committed to ensuring parity and transparency in pension benefits for all state employees.

Yadav said a new commission, comprising retired senior officials, would be constituted to review long-pending issues related to pay anomalies, grade pay and cadre restructuring. The commission will also make recommendations on rationalising designations across departments.

“The government aims to grant promotions to all eligible officers and employees. Although the matter is sub judice, nearly four lakh state employees are expected to benefit soon,” the Chief Minister said.

He added that government employees play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation of public welfare schemes and in driving the state’s progress. “The happiness visible on the faces of employees is the true foundation of our development. Government employees are the real karmayogis who ensure that every welfare scheme reaches people at the grassroots,” he said.

Announcing a major recruitment push, Yadav said the state government will create around two lakh new posts across departments to boost employment opportunities. He said a unified examination would be introduced to replace multiple recruitment tests for different roles.

To speed up police recruitment, the Chief Minister said a separate Police Recruitment Board is being set up, which will oversee the hiring of 20,000 personnel. “The recruitment process has already commenced,” he noted.

He also announced 476 new posts of Anganwadi Supervisors and said that digital recruitment has begun for 19,504 Anganwadi Workers and Assistants — the first time such a process is being conducted online.

The Chief Minister said the state government has increased the dearness allowance for its employees to 55 per cent, bringing it on par with the union government employees. The arrears have been disbursed in five equal instalments between June and October 2025.

Yadav emphasised that the government’s success depends on the dedication of its workforce and the coordination between the administration and employees. “Prompt resolution of public issues and commitment to duty are shared responsibilities. The government and administration are working together to accelerate the state’s development in every sector,” he added.
