MRF Q4FY25 Results: Profit grows 31%; tyre-maker announces dividend

MRF Q4FY25 Results: Tyre manufacturer MRF reported its financial results for the March quarter and fiscal year-ended March 31, 2025 on Wednesday. For the review period, the company's standalone profit grew over 31 per cent to Rs 498 crore. In the corresponding period of the previous year, the company's profit stood at Rs 380 crore.

Revenue from operations at the tyre-making company also increased year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 6,215 crore in Q4FY24 to Rs 6,944 crore in the review period, marking a nearly 12 per cent rise.

For the review quarter, the company's  Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) stood at Rs 1,043 crore. Meanwhile, the EBITDA margin for the review quarter increased by 70 basis points on-year to 15 per cent as against 14.3 per cent in the corresponding period a year-ago.

For FY2025, the company's board has announced a final dividend of Rs 229 per share- its highest ever dividend pay-out for shareholders. 

The Board of Directors have recommended a final dividend of Rs 229/- (2290%) per share of Rs.10 each. The Company has already declared and paid two interim dividends of Rs.3/ - (30%) each per share for the financial year ended 3pt March, 2025. The total dividend for the financial year ended 3pt March 2025 works out to Rs. 235/- (2350%) per share of Rs.10 each,"said the company in its filing with the exchanges.

After the company's earnings, the company's scrip traded with significant gains of nearly 4 per cent or Rs 5,035.60 at Rs 1,40,000 per share on the BSE.
