After an emotional moment from her Melbourne concert, in which she broke down and apologised to fans, went viral, Neha Kakkar was recently at the centre of controversy. Despite being three hours late for the show, Neha said she and her team had to perform in difficult conditions because the organisers had not made even the most basic preparations.
Event organisers Pace D and Bikram Singh Randhawa, who oversaw the event's Australian component, have since denied her claims, calling them untrue and deceptive.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, rapper and event host Pace D said, “Beat Production from Melbourne was the one who invited Neha Kakkar. Now that both parties have come forward and spoken openly, then why can’t we? We were there and saw everything. I spoke to Preet Pabla bhai, who was the event organiser. I asked him everything. He’s a very nice and genuine person. That’s when I found out that she didn’t arrive on time and there were multiple delays. He told me that she kept saying things like, ‘I won’t go now; I won’t do this.’"
enying Neha's allegations, he further said, "This was such a big show, the entire tech rider was in place. There were opening acts, and everyone performed. Her mic and complete setup were fully ready. So the things she’s been saying don’t seem to be true, because we saw with our own eyes that everything was set up properly."
Backing the organisers' stance, Bikram Singh Randhawa stated that the audience had been eagerly waiting and cheering in anticipation of Neha Kakkar’s arrival. However, she reportedly appeared on stage only at 10 PM, significantly later than the scheduled 7:30 PM start time, which, according to him, led to the crowd becoming upset and frustrated.
"In Australia, people value their time. People had made special efforts to come with their families. Some even bought tickets worth AUD 300 — that’s around Rs 15,000 to Rs 16,000," he added.

Pace D alleged that Neha Kakkar’s team had told the organisers she wouldn’t perform until the venue was filled, reportedly saying, “Only 700 people? Until more people come in and this place fills up, I’m not going to perform.”
Neha, on the other hand, claimed that the event organisers had cancelled without paying, neglected to provide her team with basic necessities like food, water, and lodging, and had not kept in touch. Additionally, she asserted that the delay in the sound check was caused by unpaid vendors.
