Stocks like Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, L&T and Mahindra & Mahindra have gained for the third session in a row and are up anywhere between 7% to 8% so far this week, and these stocks are leading the gains that are offsetting the sell-off seen in IT stocks on Wednesday.Although volatile, the Nifty 50 index has not declined as much as feared, despite the five IT stocks listed on the index wiping out over ₹1.5 lakh crore in value in just the first few minutes of the trading sessions. The losses in IT stocks are being offset by other index heavyweights. Here's a list of the stocks aiding the recovery in the Nifty.Reliance Industries | Shares of Reliance Industries are up for the third day in a row and have ensured that the Nifty 50 losses stay in check. The stock is the top contributor to the Nifty gains on Wednesday. The stock has gained 8% in the last three trading sessions. RIL is contributing up to 30 points to the Nifty gains.ICICI Bank | India's second-largest private lender is also up for the third-day running, contributing to the Nifty 50 moves today on the upside. The stock's 6% surge in the last three trading sessions has taken its market capitalization back above the mark of ₹10 lakh crore. The stock is contributing to around 20 points to the Nifty upmove.L&T | The engineering and infrastructure conglomerate has seen gains of 7.5% across the last three trading sessions, having won a few orders last week. The company is confident of surpassing its order inflow guidance for the full year, while maintaining its revenue growth and core margin projections. L&T is contributing 15 points to the Nifty gains.M&M | Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra have also risen 7% in the last three trading sessions. The stock is contributing up to 15 points to the Nifty gains on Wednesday and has gained in four out of the last five trading sessions.ONGC | The rebound in crude oil prices after the sell-off earlier this week has also boosted the fortunes of ONGC again with the stock gaining over 4% on Wednesday.
