Nitin Gadkari leads Nationwide brainstorming to shape road safety plan 2025

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, spearheaded a full-day national brainstorming session in the capital, bringing together key representatives from government bodies, private sectors, international institutions, and NGOs to draft a comprehensive Road Safety Plan – 2025.

The initiative, held in New Delhi, aimed to build a unified blueprint to enhance traffic safety across India. Shri Gadkari emphasised the need for collaborative efforts and public engagement to curb road accidents and promote safer driving practices.

Demonstrating his commitment, the minister stressed the importance of awareness and citizen participation in making Indian roads safer. He called for actionable suggestions and pledged that the final safety roadmap would reflect the shared responsibility of all stakeholders.

In a heartfelt message on social media, Gadkari urged citizens to become proactive road safety advocates, even within their homes:
