With this announcement, the government-owned company has declared the commercial operation of this phase of the project.
In an exchange filing, the Navratna said that the 300 MW Solar Power Project of the Company, with a capacity of 52.83 MW, has been successfully commissioned and declared commercially operational at Barsingsar, Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The company added that it received the commissioning certificate for the same from the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited on 26th August, 2025.
When we look at the company's performance in the previous quarter, the government-of-India-owned company reported a 42.7% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit at ₹798 crore for the first quarter.
NLC India posted a net profit of ₹559 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
When we look at the bottom line figures, the company's revenue from operations increased to ₹3,826 crore as against ₹3,378 crore. This marked a 13.2% jump in its revenue number YoY.
NLC India's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) dipped 13.6% to ₹935 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal year over ₹1,082 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal year.
EBITDA margin stood at 24.4% in the reporting quarter as compared to 32% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.
When we take a look at the company's performance on Dalal Street, the company saw a rise of ₹3.51, or 1.51%, on Tuesday's trading session. In the past month, the company shares have seen an uptick of 0.70%, taking the stock price to ₹236.04 per share.
