Orkla India IPO: The initial public offering (IPO) of Orkla India Limited opens for public subscription today, October 29, and will remain open till October 31, 2025. The issue is entirely an offer for sale (OFS) of shares worth Rs 1,667.54 crore. As an OFS, the IPO proceeds will be allocated entirely to the selling shareholders.
Through OFS, the company's promoters, Orkla Asa, Orkla Asia Holdings As and Orkla Asia Pacific Pte Ltd are offloading around 15 per cent of their stake.
The basis of allotment of the IPO shares is expected to be finalised on November 3, 2025, and the stock is expected to list on both the stock exchanges (BSE and NSE) on November 6, 2025, tentatively.
ICICI Securities Ltd is the book-running lead manager, while Kfin Technologies Ltd. is the registrar of the issue.
Orkla India IPO garnered around Rs 499.6 crore from 30 institutional investors on October 28, 2025. The anchor investment saw participation from Nippon Life India, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, Ashoka WhiteOak, Nomura Funds, Government Pension Fund Global, Jupiter Global Fund, Pinebridge Global Funds, Baroda BNP Paribas MF, LIC MF, Edelweiss and others.
The Orkla India IPO is a book-build issue of Rs 1,667.54 crore, comprising entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 2.28 crore shares.
The IPO has allocated 50 per cent, 35 per cent and 15 per cent of the net offer for the QIB, NII and retail investor categories, respectively.

Financially, the food company's net profit rose to Rs 255.7 crore in FY25 from Rs 226.3 crore in the previous year.
Its revenue stood at Rs 2,455.2 crore, EBITDA at Rs 396.4 crore, and EBITDA margin expanded to 16.55 per cent in FY25 from 14.58 per cent in FY24
