French anti-drone major Cerbair has issued a Letter of Intent (LoI) to purchase 30 units of the system, with a contract value of approximately €2.2 million (₹22.21 crore).
The CHIMERA 200, developed by the Indian subsidiary, is a sophisticated anti-jamming solution designed to neutralise hostile drones by disrupting their communication and control signals—an increasingly critical capability in the era of asymmetric threats and aerial intrusions.

In a regulatory filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Paras Defence stated: “Cerbair, France… has acknowledged the swift progress of Paras Anti-Drone… in the development of CHIMERA 200 Project involving drone anti-jamming technology and has hence issued a Letter of Intent with a requirement to purchase 30 units… valued at approximately €2.2 million (₹22.21 crore).”
Cerbair’s intent to procure CHIMERA units underscores the global interest in India’s homegrown counter-drone technology, particularly as drone threats continue to evolve across military, homeland security, and critical infrastructure sectors.
Paras Defence, the parent firm, is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of a wide array of advanced defence and space engineering systems.
Shares of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd ended at ₹1,629.00, up by ₹27.55, or 1.72%, on the BSE.
