PIB Fact Check: A message claiming to be the preliminary investigation report of the AI-171 crash, allegedly issued by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB), is being widely circulated on social media platforms.

However, the fact is that the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau has not shared this notification regarding the report, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) said.
The PIB's official fact-check Twitter handle, 'PIB Fact Check' said that the claim in the viral message is fake.
PIB tweeted, "This message is #Fake" and said, "This report has not been issued by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau."
PIB suggested to trust official sources only for information. It said, "Always trust official sources for accurate information."
