Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN), crores of farmers across the country receive Rs 6000 per annum per family payable in three equal installments of Rs 2000 each from the central government as financial assistance. With the 21st installment expected soon, farmers have been eagerly waiting for the next credit in their accounts.
Although the government has not officially confirmed the date, sources indicate that preparations are in the final stages. The money could be transferred as early in the first week of November.
To receive the 20th instalment of the PM Kisan Yojana, beneficiary farmers need to do some work as soon as possible. These include simple procedures like: e-KYC, Land verification, Bank account- Aadhaar linking.
Farmers should ensure their e-KYC is completed to receive the installment. The authorities has made it clear that no installment will be credited to accounts without KYC verification. If it is not completed then the payment of Rs 2000 could get delayed or withheld.
