Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit China soon, with the key agenda centered on easing border tensions between the two nations. The visit will also aim to restart direct flights between India and China, which have been suspended.
A significant aspect of the visit includes efforts to restore media presence, with discussions on the reinstatement of local journalists. Notably, a team from China’s state-owned television is currently in India to work on the restoration of media offices.
This will mark the second meeting between the Indian and Chinese leaders within a year, reflecting an attempt to guide bilateral relations in a more constructive direction.
