PNC Infratech on Wednesday, November 12, reported a sharp 158.5% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit to ₹215.7 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, compared to ₹83.4 crore in the same period last year. The strong profit growth came despite a 21% drop in revenue to ₹1,127 crore from ₹1,427 crore.

EBITDA fell 29.1% YoY to ₹252.6 crore, while the EBITDA margin narrowed by 260 basis points to 22.4% from 25% a year earlier, reflecting cost pressures amid lower project execution.

The company completed the sale of its equity in PNC Bareilly Nainital Highways to Vertis Infrastructure Trust (VIT) in July 2025.

Last month, the company's proposed acquisition of debt-laden Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL) was approved by the Competition Commission of India (CCI).

PNC Infratech was to acquire at least 95% and up to 100% of JAL, which is currently undergoing corporate insolvency resolution under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.

The Agra-based PNC Infratech is a publicly listed infrastructure company that primarily engages in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects in the road and highway sector, including highways, expressways, bridges, flyovers, and airport runways.

Shares of the company closed at ₹281.80 apiece, which is 2.77% higher than the day's opening on Wednesday, November 12.
