'Precision, Precaution, Compassion': Rajnath Singh lauds Armed Forces for destroying terror camps in Pak, PoJK under Operation Sindoor

Hours after the Indian Armed forces targeted and destroyed terrorist infrastructure located in nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said India used its right to respond to the “attack on its soil”, referring to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that left 26 people dead.

He was addressing the 66th Raising Day event of Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in the national capital.

The minister said that BRO must ensure war-level preparations, stressing the need for the construction of new generation infrastructure for the Armed Forces. 

He virtually dedicated to the nation 50 of BRO’s strategically-significant infrastructure projects across Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Mizoram, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and West Bengal. The projects were developed at a cost of Rs 1,879 crore, according to an official statement.
