Q2 Results Live Updates: Blue Dart, DCM Shriram surge up to 10%; L&T, SAIL at 52-week high

Shares of Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) gained over 7% to hit a fresh 52-week high on Wednesday, October 29, ahead of their second quarter earnings.

A CNBC-TV18 poll has forecast SAIL’s revenue from operations to increase 0.6% to ₹24,822 crore in the September quarter from ₹24,675 crore a year earlier.

Operating profit is expected to decline 32% YoY to ₹1,995 crore from ₹2,913 crore, while margins are likely to contract to 8.04% from 11.81%.

Shares of DCM Shriram Ltd. climbed more than 7% on Wednesday, October 29, after the company reported strong earnings for the September quarter, aided by improved performance and recent acquisitions.

Net profit more than doubled to ₹158 crore, against ₹63 crore in Q2FY25.

Shares of Blue Dart Express Ltd. gained as much as 10% on Wednesday, October 29, after the logistics major reported a strong operational performance for the September quarter.

The company’s net profit rose 29.5% year-on-year to ₹81 crore, compared to ₹63 crore in the same period last year. Revenue grew 7% to ₹1,549.3 crore from ₹1,448.4 crore a year ago.

Shares of Computer Age Management Services Ltd. (CAMS) declined nearly 7% on Wednesday, October 29, after the company reported steady growth in its second quarter results.

It also declared an interim dividend of ₹14 per share. Earlier this month, the company had also announced a stock split in a 1:5 ratio.

CAMS reported its all-time high quarterly revenue of ₹376 crore in the second quarter, which increased 6.4% sequentially.

CreditAccess Grameen’s July-September quarter (Q2FY26) numbers were better than expected, but the near-term outlook remains mixed, according to CLSA. The brokerage maintained its hold rating on the stock and raised its target price to ₹1,600 per share.

The company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹130 crore in the second quarter, which was 52% higher than CLSA’s estimates. The earnings surprise was largely driven by lower provisioning expenses and higher other income.

The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹638 crore, marginally below the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹640 crore and down 25.9% year-on-year from ₹861 crore. Revenue from operations rose 4.2% to ₹11,685 crore, above the poll estimate of ₹11,154.6 crore, while EBITDA stood at ₹2,080.5 crore versus an estimate of ₹1,962 crore.

Shares of Tata Capital Ltd. are in focus on Wednesday, October 29, after the company reported its second quarter earnings a day prior along with expectations of better Return on Assets (RoA) compared to current levels.

During the September quarter, Tata Capital’s net profit increased by 11% to ₹1,097 crore from ₹990 crore in the previous quarter.

Revenue for the quarter rose 19.6% year-on-year to ₹1,576.4 crore from ₹1,318.5 crore in Q2 FY25, driven by higher volumes across its CNG and PNG segments.
