CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd reported a strong operational outlook with its order backlog rising to ₹13,568 crore, providing healthy revenue visibility for the coming quarters. The company said order momentum remains robust across key businesses despite near-term demand challenges.Sales in the Power Systems segment grew 48% year-on-year to ₹1,254 crore, driven by improved price realisation and better operating leverage. However, the Industrial Systems business saw a 2% decline in sales due to project deferments in the railway segment and higher commodity costs.

The liquor maker reported a 72% YoY rise in net profit to ₹139.5 crore for the September quarter, supported by improved margins and higher sales of premium products. Revenue grew 34% to ₹1,493.7 crore.

Shares of Mold-Tek Packaging Ltd slipped over 8% on Wednesday, closing at ₹722.50 on the NSE after hitting an intraday low of ₹711, even as the company reported growth in its September-quarter earnings.The company’s net profit rose 10% year-on-year to ₹15.5 crore, compared to ₹14 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations also increased 10% to ₹210 crore from ₹191.3 crore a year earlier.

Shares of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd gained over 4% on Wednesday, closing at ₹753.40 on the NSE after hitting an intraday high of ₹759 following its September-quarter results.

The company reported a 21% year-on-year rise in revenue to ₹2,923 crore, while EBITDA increased 28% to ₹377 crore. Margins improved to 12.9% from 12.2% a year earlier.

Post earnings, shares of NMDC Steel Ltd tanked nearly 6%, trading at ₹44.92 on the NSE as of 3:10 PM, even as the company reported a sharp narrowing of losses for the September quarter.

The steelmaker’s Q2 FY26 net loss came in at ₹115 crore, compared with ₹595.4 crore a year earlier, while revenue more than doubled year-on-year to ₹3,390 crore. Here
