"...this is to inform that RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. ("the Company") has received the work order from South Eastern Coalfields Limited for an amounting to ₹11,94,89,669 (Including Tax)," according to a stock exchange filing.

As per the exchange filing, the contract involves deploying managed bandwidth service through an MPLS VPN network to support live streaming and storage of CCTV footage from various SECL mines located across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

The project is to be executed over a period of three years, with a completion deadline of June 5, 2028.

Last week, RailTel Corporation of India received a letter of intent (LoI) from the Motor Vehicles Department, Maharashtra. The estimated order size is ₹274.40 crore. The final contract value will be confirmed upon issuance of the purchase order, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Under the contract, RailTel will design, implement, operate, and maintain an Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) at various blackspots and vulnerable locations in the Vidarbha circle for a period of 10 years.

The project is scheduled to be completed by September 4, 2036.

Shares of Railtel Corporation of India Ltd ended at ₹456.40, down by ₹7.40, or 1.65%, on the BSE.
