Superstar Rajinikanth has once again captured the hearts of fans—not through a film this time, but with a humble gesture that speaks volumes about his grounded nature. The legendary actor was recently spotted flying economy class on an IndiGo flight, a choice that quickly went viral online and earned admiration from fans across the country.

A video capturing the moment was shared on X by Manobala Vijayabalan, showing Rajinikanth receiving a hero’s welcome mid-flight.

The caption read, "Superstar Rajinikanth turns a flight into theatre with huge reception, post Jailer 2 shoot." As soon as passengers recognised him, excitement swept through the cabin. People cheered, waved, and eagerly reached for their phones to record the moment. Calls of "Thalaiva!" echoed through the aisle as fans tried to catch his attention. Rajinikanth, with his characteristic grace, smiled warmly and waved back, acknowledging the affection with humility.

Social media users were quick to respond with admiration. One fan commented, “Only man in India with no haters.” while another added, "very nice! never tired of watching him on the screen!" The moment further reinforced his reputation as one of India’s most beloved and down-to-earth celebrities.

It's interesting to note that the actor has previously opted for economy travel. He was seen on a flight from Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, in March of last year. There, he delighted everyone around him by interacting warmly with both cabin crew and other passengers.
