Youtuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia has recently retrieved his passport and has been cleared to travel abroad. However, he has already kicked off his first international trip following Samay Raina’s India Got Latent controversy.

Ranveer, aka BeerBiceps took to his Instagram to share the update and express his excitement as he jetted off outside India. He shared a photo of himself posing with a suitcase at the airport. Alongside the photos, he wrote in the caption, “Passport mil gaya guys (have got my passport back guys).”

He opted for a comfy yet stylish airport look. He sported a white sweatshirt with black stripes on it, paired with black pants and matching shoes. He completed his look with sunglasses. He seems to enjoy his recent trip.

For the unversed, Ranveer had to surrender his passport to the police after the Supreme Court order on February 18. The order protected him from arrest after multiple FIRs were filed over his controversial comment during Samay Raina’s show.

He requested the court to return his passport in March and claimed that he was required to travel extensively and interview persons for the podcast. He cited that his podcast is “his only source of livelihood.”

However, the SC provided a huge relief to Ranveer on Monday and returned his passport. The latest update came after the Assam and Maharashtra governments wrapped up their investigation against him into the obscene comment on comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent.
