The Lucknow Super Giants lost to Mumbai Indians by 54 runs on Sunday, their fifth and most significant loss of the season. Even though LSG were bowled out for 161 in 20 overs while chasing a massive 216 at the Wankhede Stadium, Ravi Bishnoi did bring smile in the Lucknow dugout with his animated celebration. The moment took place right after the tail-ender smashed Jasprit Bumrah, MI's premium pacer, for a six over long on.

When Bishnoi chose to take on Bumrah, who had already set the record for the most wickets in MI history, he was in the middle of his spell and the game was all but over. Bumrah's hopes of taking five wickets were dashed when Bishnoi muscled the ball over long-on for a massive six off a length delivery. The shot left Bishnoi thrilled as he celebrated the six in front of Bumrah by pumping his fist.

Even Bumrah was left amused by the tail-ender's act as he smiled wryly at Bishnoi's festivity. However, that was not the end of the moment. Rishabh Pant, the captain of Lucknow, was spotted pointing at Bishnoi while laughing in the dugout.

The stage had been set earlier by the Mumbai Indians' blazing batting. Continuing his incredible form, Suryakumar Yadav reached his third half-century and surpassed the 400-run milestone for the season. Even though they lost a few wickets quickly after, Mumbai's momentum remained strong thanks to his 28-ball 54, which included four sixes and four fours.

Apart for Suryakumar, Ryan Rickelton too smashed a half-century, while Corbin Bosch and Naman Dhir combined to produce a late blitz. Bosch scored 20 off 10 balls and Dhir returned unbeaten on 25 off 11 balls, helping MI amass a commanding 215/7 after being asked to bat first.

The Super Giants were unable to bounce back after their in-form hitter, Aiden Markram, was dismissed early in the powerplay. Returning to number four, Pant's miseries compounded as he was dismissed for 4 as he handed a simple catch to Karn Sharma at short third off Will Jacks bowling.
