RR vs GT, IPL 2025 Highlights: 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi not only became the youngest centurion in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), but also registered the second fastest IPL hundred ever as Rajasthan Royals defeated Gujarat Titans by 8 wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday.
The Royals achieved the 210-run target with 25 balls to spare riding on Suryavanshi’s hundred and Yashasvi Jaiswal’s unbeaten 70.

Gill played a captain’s knock by smashing 4 sixes and 5 fours before falling for a 50-ball 84.
Jos Buttler continues rich form:

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s historic knock:
The 14-year-old batting prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi outshone all the other stroke-makers in Jaipur by smashing the second fastest IPL hundred to not only the become the youngest centurion in the history of the league but also the youngest T20 centurion ever.
Treating all of the GT bowlers with utter disdain, Suryavanshi, who struck the fastest fifty of the season, off just 17 balls, wrote history with the second fastest IPL century next only to Chris Gayle’s 30-ball ton that came for RCB against Pune Warriors in 2013.
No one was spared by Suryavanshi, who treated renowned Indian bowlers like Mohammed Siraj and Ishant Sharma with contempt, smashing 28 runs off the fourth over bowled by Ishant. Suryavanshi made his intentions known right away in the match as he hit a six off Siraj's bowling on the third ball he faced.
Suryavanshi smashed GT bowler Karim Janat for 30 runs in the only over that he bowled, hitting 3 sixes and 3 fours off the six legal deliveries – to move from 64 to 94 in a flash.
Suryavanshi got to his ton with a six off Rashid Khan in the next over and such was the impact of the teenager’s knock that even made the Royals coach stand up from his wheelchair and applaud.
Suryavanshi scored a magnificent 101 off 38 balls – a knock that was studded with 11 sixes and 7 fours before he was clean bowled off a yorker by Prasidh Krishna. Not only Suryavanshi walked off to a standing ovation, almost all GT players walked up to him to shake hands.

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s support act:
Yashasvi Jaiswal played second fiddle to Suryavanshi with remarkable ease. A fine strokeplayer in his own right, Jaiswal watched the carnage unfold from the other end reaching his fifty off 31 balls.
Jaiswal stayed unbeaten on 70 hitting 2 sixes and 9 fours off 40 balls and made sure there were no hiccups in the Royals run chase after Suryavanshi’s dismissal as he took his team over the line in the company of his stand-in captain Riyan Parag, who remained unbeaten on a 15-ball 32.
