Sanofi India Dividend: Pharma major Sanofi India Ltd is set to consider an interim dividend for its shareholders, with the company’s board meeting scheduled on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, alongside the release of its Q2 FY2025-26 financial results.
According to an exchange filing dated October 23, Sanofi India said the board will “consider and approve the unaudited financial statements for the quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2025” and “consider and declare interim dividend for the year 2025, if any.”
In simple terms, a dividend is a reward that a company gives to its shareholders out of its profits. Think of it as a small share of the company's earnings being passed back to you for owning a piece of the business.
If approved, this will mark Sanofi India’s first interim dividend since its demerger in June 2024, when the company had spun off its consumer healthcare business into a separate entity, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare Ltd. Under the demerger scheme, shareholders received one share of the new company for every share held in Sanofi India.
Following the demerger, Sanofi India had rewarded shareholders with a final dividend of Rs 117 per share of Rs 10 face value in April 2025.
Sanofi India has maintained a consistent dividend-paying history, boasting a dividend yield of nearly 2.5 per cent. In calendar year 2024, the company declared two dividends — Rs 50 in March and Rs 117 in May. In the previous three years, it paid Rs 377 (2023), Rs 683 (2022), and Rs 365 (2021) per share.
Shares of Sanofi India Ltd, a BSE 500 index constituent with a market capitalization of Rs 10,920 crore, were trading 1 per cent higher at Rs 4,742 on the NSE around 3:25 PM on Tuesday, ahead of the key board meeting
