Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji has been married to Aditya Chopra for over a decade in a private ceremony, and their secret wedding still remains in the headlines.

However, prominent fashion designer Sabyasachi has recently reflected on Rani’s wedding and shared some intimate details of the ceremony. He had crafted Rani's bridal outfit and revealed that the actress provided him just a week's deadline to create her wedding lehenga.

During a conversation with the YouTube channel Fashionably Pernia, Sabyasachi recalled the most enjoyable Bollywood wedding and said, “You know who was fun to work with? It was actually Rani Mukerji. She never released the photos.”

He added, “But, the fact is that it was a mad wedding which was done between her, Adi (Aditya Chopra), Karan (Johar), and me. She was very chilled out.”

Sabyasachi also noted that the couple seemed to plan the wedding very last minute and recalled, “She came over for lunch one day and said that she is getting married. I asked her how much time I had and she said one week.”

He added, “I had to put something together in that much time. It’s fun when people enjoy their wedding. It just makes the process of designing for them so much more fun.”

Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra met for the first time on the sets of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and became friends. He was married to Payal Khanna and got divorced from her in 2009. However, Rani and Aditya’s friendship soon turned into romance, and they started dating each other.

They never confirmed their dating speculations despite getting spotted together. However, Rani and Aditya got married on April 21, 2014, in Italy. They welcomed their daughter, Adira, who was born in 2015.
