SBI Q2 Results: State Bank of India (SBI) on Tuesday, November 4, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 21,504.49 crore for the quarter ended September (Q2FY26), marking a 6.4 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to Rs 20,219.62 crore in the same period last year.
On a standalone basis, the country’s largest lender by assets posted a net profit of Rs 20,159.67 crore, up 10 per cent from Rs 18,331.44 crore a year earlier. The figure came in above market expectations, which had projected a decline of up to 17 per cent.
Net interest income (NII) for the quarter stood at Rs 42,985 crore, reflecting a 3.3 per cent growth against Rs 41,620 crore in Q2FY25.
