SBI Alert: If you use SBI’s YONO app, here’s an important update. The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced that the YONO app will be temporarily unavailable on the night of October 18, 2025 for scheduled maintenance. This is to improve the app’s performance and give users a better digital experience.
The bank has assured that it will take just an hour for the YONO service to go offline from 12:10 am through to 1:10 am on October 18. The bank customers will not be able to use the YONO app for any services during that time.
There will be a complete stop on both YONO and YONO Business Apis during the maintenance. Customers will be prevented from both logging into their accounts and making transactions through these platforms. On the other hand, SBI has given its word that the rest of the banking activities will be running without any hitches.
Customers are advised to use other channels like Internet Banking, YONO Lite App, UPI, or ATMs during the maintenance outage. These platforms will still allow users to check balances, make fund transfers, bill payments, and online recharges without any interruptions.
Scheduled maintenance is a regular activity for banks aimed at updating their systems, featuring security, and making sure that even the peak user traffic times do not affect operations. Though it might be somewhat inconvenient, the upgrading process is essential for customer data protection and the banks' continuous operation.
