Trump attacks Fed again in open handwritten letter calling for lower rates

President Trump sent a letter to Fed Chairman Powell telling him that he is “too late” in cutting interest rates, according to White House Press Secretary Leavitt.

The letter tells Powell the Fed needs to cut rates “by a lot”. Trump also posted on Truth Social, suggesting rates should be at “1% Interest, or better and that the whole board should be ashamed

“They won’t take our RICE, and yet they have a massive rice shortage,” Trump posted June 30 on social media. “In other words, we’ll just be sending them a letter, and we love having them as a Trading Partner for many years to come.”

State-run Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) Ltd. shared its business update for the April-June quarter on Monday, June 30.

Disbursements of loans increased by 31% from the year-ago quarter to ₹6,981 crore. IREDA had disbursed loans worth ₹5,326 crore in the base quarter.
