Route Mobile reported a weak April to June quarter of 2025 (Q1FY26) performance with net profit falling 27.6% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹58.8 crore from ₹81.2 crore.

Revenue also dipped slightly by 4.8% to ₹1,050.8 crore. Operating profit (EBITDA) declined 24% to ₹94 crore compared to ₹123.7 crore last year.

The company’s margin dropped to 8.9% from 11.2%, indicating reduced profitability.

Asian stocks made a modest gain at the open Friday as a global equity rally gained fresh vigour on strong economic data that eased concerns about the US economy.

The yen steadied as Japan’s key price measure cooled a tad more than expected while remaining well above the Bank of Japan’s target.

Oil held a gain after US data showed the world’s largest economy holding up despite the fallout from the Washington-led trade war, while crude market metrics pointed to near-term tightness.

From Friday, July 18, shares of Samvardhana Motherson International, the auto components supplier, will reflect the bonus shares issued.

This means the stock price will be adjusted to account for the extra shares given to existing shareholders.
