The streaming behemoth Netflix Inc. has made the decision to back out of the Warner Bros. acquisition. discovery following the latter’s board’s determination that Paramount Skydance’s updated bid was a better offer. During Thursday night’s extended trading on Wall Street, the stock jumped 10%.

On Thursday, February 26, Block Inc., which was co-founded by Twitter star Jack Dorsey, revealed that it was cutting off over 4,000 workers, or over half of its workforce. As a result, the stock rose 25% during Wall Street’s extended trading.
