A 100% charge on branded or patented drugs will go into effect on October 1st, unless a corporation is constructing a manufacturing facility in the United States, according to a new round of tariffs announced by President Donald Trump.

Trump stated on social media that if businesses have started building a US manufacturing facility or if one is already under development, there won’t be any taxes on pharmaceutical imports.
