Renewable energy firm Saatvik Green Energy Ltd announced on Tuesday that it has received and accepted solar module supply orders worth ₹488 crore from leading Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) companies. These orders are scheduled for execution during FY26.

In addition, the company’s material subsidiary, Saatvik Solar Industries Pvt Ltd, has secured ₹219.62 crore worth of orders from three prominent IPP and EPC partners within the same period.

GIFT Nifty flat, indicates a muted start for the Indian market

As the US government shutdown continues, many investors are looking for a safe place to lodge their money, and gold futures have jumped above $4,000 per troy ounce for the first time.

New York gold futures reached a new high Tuesday morning, leaping above the $4,000 threshold. The standard price for measuring precious metals, $3,960.60 per troy ounce, was the previous closing price of New York spot gold on Monday.

 The initial public offering (IPO) of WeWork India Management Ltd. closed for subscription on Tuesday, October 7, with the share allotment scheduled for Wednesday, October 8.The ₹3,000 crore Offer For Sale (OFS) witnessed full subscription on the final day, driven primarily by strong institutional participation.According to data from the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the issue received an overall subscription of 1.15 times, with the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category subscribed 1.79 times.WeWork India, based in Bengaluru, operates flexible workspaces across major cities and is among the leading players in India’s co-working segment. Investors are now awaiting details on the listing date and share allotment status, which will determine the next phase of the IPO process.

Oil edged higher after a mixed US inventories report, with traders also focused on the broader outlook for supply as OPEC+ presses on with output increases and American production expands.

Brent crude moved closer to $66 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) held steady above $62, after both benchmarks ended largely unchanged in the previous session.

The 61.8% retracement for the Nifty is still at the crucial level of 25,119. Although the index did break above it, the move was not sustained. The high of 25,220 on Monday is unquestionably the next level up. The 25,050–25,100 range will provide the index with solid support.
