As investors struggled with the changing effects of artificial intelligence, Wall Street ended Tuesday, February 17, slightly higher, with gains in banking companies offsetting ongoing weakness in software shares.

Tuesday’s range-bound trading saw the Nifty close 43 points higher at 25,725 after continuing its gains for the second consecutive session.

On the day of the weekly expiry, the index recovered sharply during the day after starting weakly, rising more than 150 points from its morning lows.
