The Nifty IT index is trading with a major deficit, dragged down by Infosys among other stocks.

Defence stocks, including Cochin Shipyard, Paras Defence, Cyient DLM, and HAL, gained up to 5% on September 15 after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh approved the new Defence Procurement Manual 2025, aimed at speeding up revenue procurement and boosting domestic participation. here

The total cash balance of equity mutual funds dropped from ₹1.85 lakh crore to ₹1.76 lakh crore in August due to active cash deployment. August saw a number of block deals that allowed fund firms to start using inflows.

Insolation Energy arm, Insolation Green bags order worth ₹750 cr to supply 226.45 MW SPV solar power plants

On Monday, September 15, investors will be watching Northern ARC Capital Ltd. shares after broking firm DAM Capital began covering the company with a ‘Buy’ rating and a price objective of ₹335.

DAM Capital’s price objective suggests a possible gain of around 36% from Friday’s closing prices.

 

China churned out less coal and steel in August as the government tightened controls on production.

Coal output dropped year-on-year for a second consecutive month and steel for a fourth. Other construction materials, such as cement and glass, also declined as the impact of China’s years-long property crisis continues to reverberate.

 

On Monday, September 15, Vikram Solar Ltd. said that it has obtained an order from AB Energia, a company that specialises in end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions for commercial and industrial solar projects, for 200 Mega Watt (MW) of high-efficiency solar modules.

According to Vikram Solar, the modules, which have a peak power rating of 590 watts (Wp) and higher, will be installed throughout Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra.

 

Tega Industries’ shares rose on September 15 after its board approved plans to raise up to ₹4,000 crore through equity, convertibles, or debt, using options like public offer, preferential allotment, or QIP. here
