Prosecutors on Thursday asked a Washington-based judge to dismiss the charges against Venkata Naga Madhusudhan Raju Manthena, marketing director at Vasudha Pharma Chem Ltd. Manthena was indicted in March along with the company and two other Vasudha executives on charges of conspiring to distribute chemicals used for the illegal manufacture of the deadly opioid.

 

Individuals have until September 15, 2025, to file their Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for the 2024–25 fiscal year (Assessment Year 2025–26). The deadline is quickly approaching, so taxpayers should finish their filings on time to avoid fines.

 

IPO Norms To Be Relaxed?

SEBI has proposed reducing minimum share sale requirements for large IPOs and extending compliance timelines for public float, aiming to ease listing hurdles while retaining the retail quota at 35%.

According to a consultation paper released last month, companies with a post-issue market capitalisation between ₹50,000 crore and ₹1 lakh crore may see their minimum public offer cut from 10% to 8% of post-issue share capital.
