A day before its ₹3,899 crore offer opens for subscription on Friday, November 7, IPO-bound Pine Labs has raised ₹1,753 crore from more than 70 anchor investors.

The Pine Labs board has authorised the distribution of 7.9 crore equity shares at the upper end of the price range, ₹221 per share, to qualified anchor investors.

Indian stock markets continued their losses for the second consecutive session as they began the shortened week on a poor note. The Nifty failed to hold the 25,500 mark during a widespread sell-off, continuing its pattern of lower highs and lower lows.

The market failed to hold onto early gains after a quiet start and was under pressure all day.
