US rate cuts set to resume this week
Global stocks started the week near record highs while the dollar was steady ahead of the Federal Reserve’s policy decision. The MSCI All Country World Index and Asia equity index hovered close to records. South Korea’s market rose 0.5% after a change in the capital gains tax threshold, while Australia’s slipped 0.6%. Cash trading in Treasuries was shut during Asian hours due to a holiday in Japan. here
In August 2025, GMR Airports Ltd. handled 93.49 lakh passengers throughout its facilities, a 3.5% year-over-year drop in passenger traffic. The decline occurred as overseas traffic increased somewhat while domestic passenger numbers stayed same.
