Amid worries that the government bond market is being pressured by the banking system’s tightening liquidity, three traders with knowledge of the situation told Reuters that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will meet with a small group of primary dealers and banks on Tuesday, November 4.

The traders, who asked not to be identified because they are not permitted to address the media, stated that the meeting, despite the lack of a clear agenda, is anticipated to centre on the state of the market.
