On Tuesday, October 28, following the release of the state-run refiner’s September quarter earnings, shares of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. began the day higher but quickly reversed their early gains and were trading lower.
Indian Oil’s sales of ₹1.79 lakh crore was marginally higher than the street’s estimate of ₹1.77 lakh crore, while its net profit of ₹7,610 crore exceeded the ₹6,353 crore projection.
After market hours on Monday, Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Ltd. released its quarterly results, which caused shares to drop as much as 11% on Tuesday, October 28.
Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) plunged 17% from June to ₹17%, while revenue decreased 11% sequentially to ₹107.7 crore.

Following the lender’s announcement that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has returned its application for a voluntary transition to a universal bank, shares of Jana Small Finance Bank Ltd. will be the subject of attention on Tuesday, October 28.
According to Jana Small Finance Bank’s exchange filing, the central bank rejected the application, stating that the eligibility requirements had not been met.

Additionally, the broking raised its price objective for the Tata Group stock from ₹180 to ₹210, suggesting a possible 19% increase from Monday’s closing prices.
