IDFC First Bank up nearly 4% on positive brokerage note from Investec

The shares of Asian Paints surged by over 2% after the ICICI Securities changed its ratings to positive after 4 years.

Sigachi Industries shares continued to decline on Tuesday’s trade, adding to losses on Monday. This comes after a reactor blast in Telangana, killing 12. On Tuesday, the shares slipped further by 5%.

The shares of Dixon Tech are under pressure on Tuesday, as the company stocks were downgraded by Morgan Stanley.

Brokerage firm Emkay Global downgraded Karnataka Bank on Tuesday, July 1, and also slashed its price target on the stock.

Emkay has downgraded Karnataka Bank to ‘Add’ from its earlier rating of ‘Buy’ and has cut its price target by 15% to ₹220. The revised price target implies a potential upside of 12% from Monday’s closing price.

US President Donald Trump threatened to impose a fresh tariff level on Japan, while his top economic adviser said the White House aims to finalise deals with partners after the July 4 holiday. On Tuesday, the benchmark Nikkei index lost over 400 points or over 1% of its value.
