The 2QFY26 earnings season shows (1) subdued trends in mass-consumption items but an uptick in select discretionary segments, (2) modest IT services demand and (3) moderate loan growth for banks. Nonetheless, aggregate earnings are ahead of our estimates, with (1) metals & mining and (2) OMCs driving the beat in the KIE universe earnings print.
Model portfolio changes
We increase the weight on RELIANCE by 100 bps to 9.9% and on LT by 70 bps to 2.7% & remove HNDL (170 bps earlier) from model portfolio
The parent company of the financial platform Groww, Billionbrains Garage Ventures Ltd., will begin accepting subscriptions for its initial public offering (IPO) on Tuesday, November 4, and it will end on November 7. The pricing range for the ₹6,632 crore issuance is between ₹95 and ₹100 per share.
With a minimum investment of ₹15,000, retail investors can bid for at least one lot of 150 shares, as well as multiples of that amount.
The National Stock Exchange announced on Tuesday, November 4, that a pre-open session will also be held for the Futures & Options (F&O) segment.
Starting December 8, the Pre-Open session will be held from 9 AM to 9:15 AM, the NSE said in its circular.

TRADE SET UP
GIFT Nifty trades flat, indicating a muted start for the Indian market
The Nifty50 turned range-bound with a positive tilt on Monday following two sessions of severe weakening. Despite starting the day sluggish, the index made a strong recovery from its low of 25,645 in early trading.
The Nifty ultimately closed close to the day’s high, up 41 points at 25,763, after the comeback lost some of its momentum in the second half.
West Texas Intermediate traded near $61 a barrel, while Brent settled just below $65 on Monday. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies said at the weekend they planned to hold back from lifting production quotas in the first quarter. That came as the market is widely expected to be headed for a glut.
