Citi has maintained a Buy on IGL and raised its target price to ₹270, projecting higher EBITDA margins of ₹7–7.5/scm for FY26–28 (up from ₹6.5–7/scm).
The revision follows PNGRB’s approval of new pipeline tariff rules, shifting from a 3-zone to a 2-zone system. Under the new structure, all CGD companies will benefit from lower zone 1 tariffs for CNG and domestic PNG.
IGL stands to benefit the most, as it previously operated in the higher-cost zones 2 and 3.

Q1 update
Co indicated consolidated GMV growth was higher than mid-twenties, broadly in-line
However, I believe revenue is likely to be slightly lower, dragged down by lower revenue growth for the beauty business, which was impacted by geopolitical tension during Nykaa’s flagship sales.
Beauty should see mid-twenties GMV growth, despite some loss of business during sale, with net revenue also likely to be in the mid-twenties.
Fashion GMV growth picked up to mid-twenties (from 18.4% in 4QFY25 and significantly better than our forecast).
Fashion revenue growth of mid-teens was also ahead of expectations of 10.7%.

This would let investors focus on other positives like a possible US budget deal, Fed rate cuts, stable bond yields, a strong US economy, and the AI growth story.
