During WAVES 2025, Shahid Kapoor's wife, Mira Rajput was spotted assisting actress Deepika Padukone with a wardrobe malfunction in a heartwarming moment that went viral on social media. Known for her grace and elegance, Deepika Padukone looked stunning in a dapper beige suit at the event. Although she received a lot of praise for her appearance, there was a small wardrobe glitch when she had to change her dupatta after getting to the event. In order to make sure Deepika looked perfect for the event's grand inauguration, Mira Rajput kindly stepped in and re-pinned the dupatta.

Since then, a video of Mira gently adjusting the dupatta while Deepika grinned gratefully has gone viral. The actress gave a hearty embrace in return, and the two women had a brief but charming conversation that was soon noticed by media outlets and astute fans.

Later in the day, Deepika is set to join Shah Rukh Khan for a much-anticipated panel titled ‘The Journey: From Outsider to Ruler’, moderated by filmmaker Karan Johar. She will share her insights into navigating the film industry as an outsider who has risen to become one of Bollywood’s leading stars.
