State-run Punjab National Bank Ltd. reported results for the March quarter, on Wednesday, May 7, where its core income saw a rise from last year, contrary to a fall seen in peer Bank of Baroda. The company also saw elevated slippages and provisions, and expects operating profit to be lower compared to the previous financial year.

– Buy TVS Motor Company with a stop loss of ₹2,600 and a target of ₹3,350.

– Buy Power Grid with a stop loss of ₹300 and a target of ₹345.

State-run Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) Ltd., reported a 4% year-on-year growth in its net profit at ₹728 crore in comparison to the same quarter last year.

The company shares zoomed after the shareholders of the company gave a near-consensus approval to demerge the Commercial Vehicle business of the company into two separate, listed entities.
